This Privacy Policy covers the Accident Sketch and Report tool at SoftwareForEnterprise.us, including its download page and mobile pages. “We” refers to the operator of the tool, presented under the Software for Enterprise name. It describes how the tool handles information, including information processed by third-party services.
1. Accident details and sketches
You may enter an accident date, time, location, vehicle descriptions, witness information, a narrative and notes, and create annotations on the canvas. These details may identify you or other people. Avoid unnecessary names, contact details, medical information or other sensitive information.
The current editor keeps this content in browser memory and stores a draft in local storage when you choose Save or an export flow saves it before opening the download page. Some mobile form details are saved automatically. The save function does not upload the draft to our server or create a cloud account.
Eligible PNG and PDF exports are generated in your browser. We do not receive the exported file through the download function. If you email us a draft, attach it to a claim or otherwise share it, that separate action discloses its contents to the recipient.
Local storage is not a secure vault. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to reopen your draft, and scripts running on the same site can potentially access site storage. Use a trusted device and clear site data when appropriate.
2. Google Maps searches and map settings
When the map feature is available and you use it, Google receives search text and location information needed to find and display the map, including map center, zoom and view settings. Google also receives technical request information such as your IP address. This processing happens even though your accident draft is saved locally.
Saved map drafts contain coordinates, zoom, map type and an expiry time. The current save function excludes Google imagery and the map request URL. Map coordinates expire after 30 days; expired coordinates are removed when the draft is read, not by a background deletion task. Restoring a map sends a fresh request to Google.
Google handles information under its Privacy Policy. Our current custom analytics events do not intentionally include the address typed into the map finder, the locked coordinates or the accident form contents. We have not implemented a separate geographic-demand dataset from locked addresses. Any future collection would require a revised assessment and disclosure before it is introduced.
3. Analytics, performance monitoring and hosting
The tool pages use Google Analytics to measure page visits and events such as an export request, use of a free export and progression through the download page. Google may process identifiers, page and device information and approximate geographic information derived from technical data. These measurements are separate from your typed accident location. Read how Google uses information from partner sites.
The desktop editor also sends performance measurements to our monitoring endpoint. The reviewed monitoring script sends the page URL, load time, server-response timing, event name, success status and, for some events, a short diagnostic note. Its requests and hosting access logs may also expose an IP address and ordinary request metadata. Do not put accident details or other sensitive information in a page URL.
We use these records to understand usage, identify slow or failing features and protect the service. The hosting provider may process access and security logs to deliver and maintain the website. Analytics and hosting records are subject to the settings and practices of the systems that process them.
4. Browser storage, cookies and advertising
Local storage holds saved drafts, mobile form details and the date of the last free export. Session storage holds a pending export’s format and return page and may remember a desktop-view preference. These entries support the tool; they are distinct from advertising cookies.
Tool pages may display Google AdSense advertising, and the download page may present a Google-managed Offerwall or rewarded video. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve personalized ads where permitted by your choices and applicable requirements.
You can manage personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center and learn about some other advertising choices at YourAdChoices. Turning off personalization does not necessarily stop all advertising or measurement.
Where a consent or privacy-choice message is available, use its controls to manage the options offered. The controls available can vary by region and service. If no sponsored offer is available, the download flow allows an otherwise eligible export to continue. You never need to click an ad to use the download controls.
5. Service providers, contact messages and sharing
Google provides analytics, advertising and, where available, maps. The tool also loads some libraries from CDN providers and fonts from Google; those connections can disclose your IP address, browser information and request metadata. Hosting, monitoring and email providers process information needed to operate their respective services.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your correspondence. Please do not send accident drafts, identity documents or other sensitive information. We may disclose information where necessary to meet a legal obligation or protect the service and people affected by abuse. Providers may process information outside your country under their own applicable arrangements.
The current draft-saving feature does not send accident drafts to advertisers. This statement does not mean that all advertising activity falls outside legal definitions of a sale or sharing of personal information. Applicable privacy rights and requirements are not limited by this policy.
6. Retention, deletion and security
Saved annotations and form details do not currently have an automatic expiry. They normally remain until overwritten, removed through browser site-data controls or deleted by the browser. Session storage normally lasts for that tab’s session, but browser session restoration may preserve it. Map-coordinate expiry is described above.
To remove a locally saved draft, clear this website’s storage using your browser’s site-data settings. This can also remove mobile details, export preferences and other data saved by the same website. Clearing the canvas alone does not necessarily erase the saved draft. Files already downloaded or sent to someone else must be deleted separately.
Clearing browser storage does not delete records already held by Google, our hosting or monitoring systems, or email providers. This policy does not specify fixed retention periods for those records or email correspondence. Third-party retention practices are described in the relevant providers’ policies. We cannot promise absolute security or recover a draft that exists only in your browser.
7. Your browser controls
You can avoid the map feature by using Blank Canvas, limit the personal information you enter, clear browser site data, manage advertising preferences and use the Google Analytics browser opt-out add-on. Browser restrictions can affect saving, ads or other features. Private browsing does not prevent all third-party processing.
You manage accident drafts stored in your own browser. To change a saved draft, edit it in the tool and save it again. To remove it, use your browser’s site-data controls as described above. We cannot remotely retrieve, correct or erase a draft stored only in your browser. These limits concern local drafts, not records held by our hosting, monitoring or email systems. Nothing in this policy limits rights or obligations that apply under applicable privacy law.
The tool is intended for general accident documentation, not specifically for children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can assess the concern.
8. Contact and policy updates
For general questions about this policy, our contact email is tools@softwareforenterprise.us. This is not a remote draft-management service.
We will update this page and its effective date when relevant practices change. Material changes will receive additional notice where required. See also our Terms of Use.
