These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Accident Sketch and Report tool at SoftwareForEnterprise.us. References to “we” and “our” mean the operator of that tool, presented under the Software for Enterprise name. Please read these terms together with our Privacy Policy.
1. A documentation aid, not a professional assessment
The tool helps you draw a scene and organize your own account of an accident. It does not investigate the incident, verify your account, determine fault or provide legal, insurance, medical or forensic advice.
A sketch is illustrative and is not necessarily to scale. Map imagery, labels and scene objects may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. A downloaded report is not an official police report, certified reconstruction or guarantee that an insurer, court or other organization will accept it.
Review all information before relying on or sharing it. Formal claims should be reviewed with appropriate professional or legal guidance. Do not use this tool while driving or instead of contacting emergency services.
2. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for having a lawful reason to use information about witnesses, drivers or other people. Include only information necessary for your documentation.
Do not use the tool to fabricate evidence, misrepresent events, violate another person’s rights, upload unlawful material, disrupt the service or abuse our APIs or advertising systems. Do not remove attribution or attempt to bypass map export restrictions.
3. Saving, restoration and downloads
Save stores your draft in the browser you are using. Some mobile form details are saved automatically. Browser storage is not a cloud backup, an account or cross-device synchronization. Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing devices or browser restrictions can make drafts unavailable.
You are responsible for maintaining your own records. We do not promise that a draft will always be saved, restored or recoverable. Clearing the visible canvas does not necessarily delete all saved browser data.
Where available, PNG and PDF files are generated in your browser. Review them before sharing. Downloads are disabled whenever a Google map background is active, including a restored map. Choosing Blank Canvas can clear existing annotations after a warning; check that warning before continuing.
4. Google Maps and third-party services
Where the Google Maps feature is available, address searches and map requests are sent to Google. Your use of those features is also subject to the Google Terms of Service, Google Maps Additional Terms and Google Privacy Policy.
Map content belongs to Google and its suppliers, not to us or to you. Keep attribution visible. Our save function stores map settings rather than the Google map image; saved map coordinates are subject to a 30-day expiry in the current implementation. Restoring a map requires a new request and may fail or require you to select the location again.
The tool does not grant permission to reproduce or distribute third-party map content outside the permitted use of the service. Links to external services do not imply our endorsement or control over their content.
5. Advertising and sponsored offers
Advertising helps support the tool. The current export flow offers one free export per day as recorded in that browser. Later eligible exports may open a separate download page where a sponsored offer or rewarded video may be available.
If no offer is available, you can continue with an otherwise eligible download. You do not need to click an advertisement to use the download controls. An offer does not override the restriction on Google map exports. Availability and any access period are described in the displayed offer and can vary.
6. Your content and our materials
You retain any rights you hold in the details and annotations you create. Using the tool does not transfer ownership of that content to us. You remain responsible for who receives your exports and what information they contain.
Our branding, interface and other original materials, and third-party materials used by the tool, remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not grant ownership of them or expand any third-party licence.
7. Availability, warranties and liability
We may maintain, change, restrict or discontinue features, including map access and exports. The tool and its outputs are provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular claim or a particular outcome.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude implied warranties and liability for losses resulting from reliance on an inaccurate sketch, unavailable service or lost browser draft. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, including mandatory consumer protections.
8. Changes, questions and contact
Material changes will be identified on this page with an updated effective date and, where required, additional notice. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory rights or protections available to you under applicable law.
Questions about the tool or these terms can be sent to tools@softwareforenterprise.us. Please do not send unnecessary accident details or sensitive documents in an initial message.
